Bathroom Lighting

Ground spike light fittings are available in a wide and varied range. From a simple old fashioned single spike with a Par 38 bulb (above left) to a smaller halogen version, stainless steel small lamppost types and more recently solar powered lights.

Ground spike light fittings are wired in steel armoured cable under the ground to each lighting point in the garden. The fitting is then stabbed into the ground/flower bed and the light angled towards the appropriate area to be lit up.

Extractor Fans

The use of an extractor fan enhances the movement of warm air. An extractor fan is typically found in a bathroom/toilet to release warm air to the outside. Extractor fans are also used in the kitchen either on the wall or ceiling, or above the cooker-hood. Everything Electrical stocks a wide variety of fans including the Airflow iCON as shown below.

This is a revolutionary new fan on the market which is circular in shape and had a unique ‘iris’ which opens and closes to allow air to be released. When the fan is not in use the iris remains closed and blends into the background of the bathroom.

The iCON is available is a selection of wattages and also in low voltage. You can purchase different coloured covers for the iCON to match it with the bathroom wall/ceiling. Of course we do also install other extractor fans including GET, Vent-Axia, Xpelair, Greenwood, British General and Emco.

Some examples are shown above. Should you require a new installation or a replacement of an existing extractor fan, please give us a call to discuss this as chances are we can match like for like the fan you currently have installed.

However due to the vast majority of bathroom extractor fans in the bathroom having a 4” duct, you are able to change the style and design. Extractor fans are available in timered, pull cord or humidistat version. A timered fan can be wired so it comes on when you turn on the bathroom light and will continue running until the light is turned off.

It can also be set to continue running to for a desired length of time after the light has been turned off, particularly good if you are clearing the steam after a hot shower. The pull cord version simply has its own pull cord so is manually operated as and when extraction is required. The humidistat fan has a sensor inside which will activate the fan when the humidity level of a bathroom reaches a certain point
